Textbooks for the Providence campus are available at the URI Providence bookstore in Room 211 in the Shepard Building.Students can access their textbook requirements on-line approximately two weeks previous to the first day of classes at www.bookstore.uri.edu/prov to view the specific titles. Please call 277-5120 for further textbook information.
The Kingston URI bookstore is located in the Memorial Union Building on Lower College Road on the Kingston Campus. Call 401-874-2721 for a recorded message to confirm store hours. Store hours are extended at the beginning of each semester. You may confirm what books you need on-line at www.bookstore.uri.edu
REFUNDS /EXCHANGES
The deadline for all refunds/exchanges will be posted at the start of each semester. Students must have their receipt. The books must be in saleable condition. New books must not be marked in any way. Refunds may be made within two weeks from the start of the semester. Textbooks that arrive late may be refunded or exchanged within 3- days of purchase up to will be posted. ALL Course material purchases after (will be posted) are final.
Receipt is required. The Providence store will process refunds/exchanges that are for Providence courses only.
BUYBACK DATES [during Finals] at in Room #211 or
you may want to try our on-line buyback [see sidebar on the Providence
bookstore web site]. If you choose to utilize the on-line buyback, you
will be responsible for packaging and shipping the books with value to
the used book wholesaler directly. Customers will be reimbursed for
shipping costs. Do not ship books that do not have a value as quoted
on-line. "Damaged" books will not receive any reimbursement so do
not ship poor condition books into the wholesaler [MBS].
